February 23, 2007 :: Mastex Nylon #18 , 2 new colors Hunter and Beaver The thread comes on a spool similar to Conso with the cardboard center. The thread gauge is smaller (finer) than the nylon #18 from Beadsmith, Conso and C-Lon Bead Cord, so for the micro knottier more knots per square inches. The slightly thinner thread is great for beads with smaller holes. The thread is as smooth as can be, flexible, pliable and it has a beautiful sheen. The thread is very well plied. When you run your fingers down the thread it is very smooth and even. The 4 colors exactly match the Mastex color card if you have one. If you used to work with the Robinson thread, this newly released Mastex is more similar to the Robinson thread rather than the Mastex thread of a year ago. I will wait until a few more colors arrive prior to making a page for the Mastex thread.

 

October 12 , 2006 :: 5 new C-Lon Bead Cord colors have been added to the collection. All 58 colors are currently in stock. The new colors are Poinsettia, Raspberry, Light Magenta, Marina and Moss. That's it for the time being. It is really a fabulous lineup of colors to match glass beads, gemstones or for any project with a nylon #18 type of cord!

September 12, 2006 :: Oyster, the 51st color of C-Lon Bead Cord is now ready to ship. It is the palest gray I have ever seen in a nylon #18 type of thread!

August 24 , 2006 :: Updated the Kanagawa 1000 Denier Silk Embroidery Thread pages. Many colors have unfortunately been discontinued and old stock was still available. Now 105 colors are available, 64 colors in stock, 41 by special order! New lower prices for Beadsmith Nylon #18 and Kanagawa Silk Thread.

August 10, 2006 (revised September 5, 2006):: 3 new colors of C-Lon Bead & Micro-Macrame Cord :: Grape is a beautiful magenta similar to the vintage Macrawold Magenta (circa 1975). Pewter is actually a Pearl Lilac just renamed Pale Heather (Aug 19,2006). Sea Shell is a baby peachy pink. Now 50 colors are in stock! 4 more colors are planned. Bubble Gum, Lemon and Oyster to be released in September. The 54th might be a magenta tone? Guess what as of September 5th: 8 more colors are in the planning bringing the total colors to 58!!!! Oyster is arriving this week...
