The C-Lon Bead Cord is a 3-ply twisted multi-filament nylon thread available in 104 colors.The color range is fabulous, with lots of bright jewel colors and subtle tones. It is perfect for simple or complex beading projects, micro-macrame jewelry, bead crochet, cordmaking, kumuhimo braiding, half-hitching, Cavandoli tapestry knotting or tatting. If you currently use Conso or Mastex Nylon #18, the C-Lon Bead Cord is a comparable product with the added attraction of the widest color range on the market and a smaller price per spool. This cord is the standard size for micro macrame. Other cords and thread in the C-Lon family are the C-Lon Micro Cord, the new C-Lon Fine Weight Bead Cord, the C-Lon Tex 400 Bead Cord and the C-Lon Beading Thread Size D.
Personal Note :: I use this thread alone or combined with Conso, D&E, Tuff Bead Cord, Mastex Nylon #18 and silks such as Kanagawa, Fujix and Madeira. The color range is beyond my wildest dream and it keeps growing, so please bear with the color chart as soon as all 104 are available, the color chart will be reshuffled. Azalea, Violet, Ice Blue and Pearl are bright colors. Steel, Eggplant, Dark Tan and Fern are more subtle muted tones.

C-Lon Bead Cord, although produced for the bead, micro macrame & fiber jewelry world, is a fine alternative with great color choices to Nylon #18 and can be used for many other applications including for industrial sewing.
