Space-Dyed Chinese Knotting Cord is a braided nylon cord dyed with variegated color gradations. Like most Chinese Knotting Cords, it has an outer braided construction and a center cord. This cord is 0.6mm diameter, similar in size to Micro Size G and Size H.

This Chinese Knotting Cord is meticulously crafted. First, it's braided with multiple nylon threads around a center cord. Then, the cord is made into skeins and space-dyed with several colors and color gradients, creating a pattern around the skein. The color pattern repeats itself every 50 inches (128 cm). Some of the skeins are folded in the middle, so the pattern is mirrored on both sides of the skein. After the dying process, the cord is rinsed and dried. In the last step, the cord is wound onto plastic spools.
This unique space-dyed cord, a one-time production, is available in limited quantities.
